COMMUNITY SERVICES PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST

Dear NEOM Community Residents,

The Community Services Department is delighted to announce a photography competition, in preparation for upcoming Saudi National Day celebrations.

We invite you to submit your best personal photographs, taken in NEOM. Shortlisted entries will go on display as part of an art exhibition to be held in the NEOM community

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SUBMISSIONS ACROSS FIVE CATEGORIES:

  • Natural environment

  • Portraits (Faces of NEOM)

  • Sporting activities

  • Culture/Fashion

  • Wildlife

There are prizes for the winning photographs, as follows:

  • 1st place will receive a gift voucher valued at 2000 SAR

  • 2nd place will receive a gift voucher valued at 1500 SAR

  • 3rd place will receive a gift voucher valued at 1000 SAR

Shortlisted images will be used by Community Services and the Communications Department for website/app/publications/reports, and other communication channels. These images will be widely distributed at events, offices, visitor centers, and conferences inside NEOM. By submitting entries into this competition, you consent to your Images being used for these purposes.

Competition rules

  • The contest is open to all NEOM Communities Residents.

  • You may submit as many entries as you wish, across all categories.

  • Images obtained by illegal or unauthorized access to restricted areas will not be considered for prizes.

  • You must own the rights to the image.

  • We’ll accept digital image files if the image was shot at the highest resolution
    using a camera with at least 2.5 megapixels or if the image is scanned at 300 lines per inch and a minimum output size of 5x7 inches. Digital image files should be TIFFs or highest-quality JPGs.

  • All photographs showing people, must have written permission from the subject/s.

  • Provide a detailed caption for each image. For example: Wadi tayeb al ism, NEOM.

  • A panel of judges, with significant photography and publishing experience, will determine the winners. Their decision is final.

  • Photos will be eliminated from competition if they lack detailed captions, have date stamps, or are of low technical quality (for example, are low resolution, have soft focus or show camera movement).

  • By participating in this contest, you are granting Community Services the rights to use your image(s) for advertising purposes.

All submissions must be sent to Getengaged@NEOM.com and should be received no later than July 31, 2021.
